About this swimming hole
A spring-fed, 202-acre pond on the outskirts of Marianna, Merritt's Mill Pond strings together Jackson Blue and a half-dozen other springs along a glassy paddling run. Swimmers cool off at the county park beach while kayakers drift the pond's limestone bluffs. It's one of the prettiest flat-water paddles in the Panhandle.
