DEC’s Lake George Beach Day Use Area, known as Million Dollar Beach, is a popular guarded swimming beach on the southern shore of Lake George. The beach house has changing rooms, showers, and restrooms, with a volleyball court, picnic tables, and grills by the sand. Swimming is allowed only in the designated area when lifeguards are on duty; beach access is free with a $10 per-vehicle parking fee.
