About this swimming hole

The Peninsula Quarry has been an official swimming hole since 1955, a Cuyahoga Valley gem with its own diving board. Tucked into the village of Peninsula between Akron and Cleveland, it is one of the oldest designated quarry swims in Ohio. Note that it sometimes closes around Labor Day.
