About this swimming hole
Beltzville Lake is a 949-acre flood-control reservoir in the Poconos, one of the region's busiest day-use destinations. A 525-foot sand beach on the lake's northern shore opens late May through Labor Day, 8:00 A.M. to sunset, at your own risk. The park has a boat launch, fishing piers, and hiking trails, and parking fills quickly on summer weekends.
