About this swimming hole
Fuller Lake was an iron furnace quarry before it became a spring-fed swimming lake at the midpoint of the Appalachian Trail. Swimming is open May 1 through September 30, 8:00 A.M. to sunset, with lifeguards on duty 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Memorial Day to Labor Day. Through-hikers reach the lake via the AT, and the beach has a bathhouse and concession stand.
