Shawnee Lake's 451 acres stretch along the Lincoln Highway (Route 30) in the heart of Bedford County. The park's sand and turf beach opens late May through mid-September, 8:00 A.M. to sunset, at your own risk. The beach area has a bathhouse, food concession, and picnic pavilions, and the park hosts a large overnight camping program.
