About this swimming hole
Moonstone Beach is one of Rhode Island's most isolated and beautiful beaches, fronting the Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge. The beach is fenced at the mean high-water mark to protect dune habitat and nesting piping plovers. The end of Moonstone Beach Road is a public right-of-way with very limited parking and no facilities.
