About this swimming hole
Clear Creek is one of the three forks of the Obed Wild and Scenic River, carving sandstone gorges with deep pools between Class III-IV rapids. Between the whitewater sections, calm eddies and riverside beaches offer excellent swimming in a true wilderness setting. The Lilly Bluff and Clear Creek trailheads give hikers access to the quieter swimming stretches.
