About this swimming hole
A 485-acre Water Oriented Recreation District park on the north shore of Canyon Lake with a pea gravel and sand beach. Swim Beach #1, located just outside the main park entrance on Canyon Park Road, features a sandy shoreline and roped-off designated swimming area with picnic tables, grills, volleyball court, and tetherball. Open April 1 to September 30.
