About this swimming hole
A 105-degree spring fills the stone foundation of a historic bathhouse on the Rio Grande, with the river itself steps away for a cool plunge. Soaking here with the Sierra del Carmen rising across the river in Mexico is one of Texas's great experiences. The spring is natural but unmanaged; the river current is the real hazard.
