Two side-by-side cascades drop into a wide swimming pool on Barton Creek, reached by a shadeless 3.5-mile round-trip hike. The pool is one of the largest on the creek, deep enough for jumping from the limestone ledges. Go early: the trail is brutal by afternoon and the small pool gets crowded.
